It was an honor brother through and through. You shared so much valuable knowledge and toughness you guided my path on where I am today. I have just heard of the news and this world, the marine corps, and me personally have lost a great man and an outstanding leader but we have gained so much from the time you gave us. Never forget and keep the gates safe my friend.

I remember Chris from Eastbrook, he was such a funny person and so sweet. My prayers are with the family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Even though we didn't get to know Chris, sounds like he was a good Marine, friend, son, and mentor. Keep standing tall and proud Marine. Semper Fi, my friend.

The prayers and thoughts from our family to yours. I lost my son in 2009. Seth was also a Marine and defended our wonderful country until 2009 while serving in Afghanistan. I understand a loss that is so hard to accept. Just know that you raised a fine young man. Once again, our thoughts and prayers go out to you

I know how difficult this must be for you and, while there is nothing that I can say that will ease your loss, I wanted you to know that I am also grieving and thinking of you all. I know how much you will miss him, and just want you to know that my thoughts are with all of

Mac,

It was a great honor to have been able to serve with you but an even greater honor to call you a friend. From you, I learned both the passion and privilege of command and for that I am forever indebted. Until we meet again my friend,

Baker

I had the honor and privilege of serving with Sgt Mac in Iraq. He was the finest example of a Marine NCO I have had the pleasure of serving with. His knowledge and natural leadership abilities were a godsend to his squad and our platoon. You will truly be missed. Fall in and ensure your Marines are squared away and commence patrolling the streets of Heaven until properly relieved. Semper FIdelis!
